Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly posted a statement on social media on Friday saying that Canadian citizens in those areas should consider leaving the area for commercial purposes.

“The risk of an attack on Israeli territory is increasing, the regional security situation is extremely volatile,” he wrote. The situation may deteriorate without notice.”

Earlier, the Canadian central government advised citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the region.

US President Joe Biden said on Friday that he thinks Iran could attack Israel immediately. He also warned Tehran not to attack Israel.
