Residents of Ontario who want to buy a house in a cheap city might have to go a long way outside the Greater Toronto Area.

Last month, the independent real estate marketplace Zolo released its list of Ontario’s most affordable cities. The company looked at home prices, unemployment rates, and population growth before making its decision.

The three top huge urban communities on Zolo’s rundown can be generally tracked down in the Ottawa region.

Nepean, a municipality just west of the capital, was the most affordable. The typical home cost is about $701,987 while the typical family pay is about $137,000.
