Ontario school boards should report PD day activities, student attendance as per new guidelines

School boards in Ontario will be expected to openly report the subtleties of their expert advancement meetings, among a few other exhibition markers, under regulation that gives the schooling priest more noteworthy command over sheets.

In addition to making PD days transparent, the new provincial regulations require boards to report on things like attendance rates, the percentage of students who participate in a job skills program, and the percentage of students who meet or exceed provincial standardized test standards.

Education Minister Stephen Lecce says the principal set of guidelines that are essential for the as of late passed Better Schools and Understudy Results Act will help “pull together” sheets on scholarly accomplishment and life and occupation abilities.

“This conveys a reasonable message to Ontario’s educational committees we’ve paid attention to the needs of our folks putting presence of mind at the focal point of our schooling system,” Lecce wrote in a proclamation.
