Bangladesh and Canada will work for the expansion of technical and vocational education in Bangladesh in the light of the experience of how countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Senegal, etc. have made technical education meaningful by combining technical and vocational education with higher education by using the Canadian community college experience.
Canadian High Commissioner appointed to Bangladesh with Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury at the Secretariat on Tuesday. This decision was made in a bilateral meeting between Lily Nicholls.
Also present at this time was the Vice President of Colleges and Institutes of Canada. Elaine Roy and Ms. Debra Boyce, Senior Trade Commissioner of Canada High Commission in Bangladesh and others.
