The flight attendant is missing. A flight attendant of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) PK-782 went missing after landing in Canada. It is known that the missing flight attendant’s name is Maryam Raja. Authorities launched a search after he was not seen on flight PK-784 from Toronto to Karachi.
Aviation authorities searched and found a note in his hotel room on a uniform saying ‘Thank you, PIA’. It is known that Maryam Raja boarded a Toronto-bound flight from Islamabad on Monday. He joined Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) about 15 years ago. But his whereabouts are not known now.
Note that this is the second incident this year. A spokesperson for the airline blamed Canadian law for the incident. Because, after entering Canada, asylum is granted. The same thing happened last January. A flight attendant named Faiza Mukhtar arrived in Canada but was not seen on the return flight.
Last year, seven Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendants went missing while on duty in Canada. Therefore, Pakistan International Airlines is coordinating with the Canadian authorities to handle the situation and avoid such incidents in the future.
