This enchanting, peaceful morning

Day by day, our beloved guava tree has grown so much.

Last year, I had to prune the huge tree and leave it bare. Surprisingly, the pair of magpies who built their nest here every year, didn’t return this time.

Every year, the two magpies would come back and build a nest in my beloved tree. They would raise their young. I would wake up early in the peaceful mornings and look at the sunrise. Sitting on the porch, I would hear the sweet ‘maa maa’ calls of the little magpie chicks with their yellow beaks. The mother bird would fly away repeatedly. I don’t know where she would go but she would bring worms and feed her babies. As soon as the food touched their beaks, the chicks would stop crying.

Ah, what a magical world of love!

Today is the 8th of July.

I don’t know why, but the grass is still covered in dew. I’m walking barefoot on the grass, looking at the plants in my garden. I’ve even taken a few pictures. I feel like sharing them with my fellow gardening friends, but I never do. Today is no exception.

I’ve taken some pictures of my garden this peaceful morning. Maybe someone will enjoy them.
