Trudeau also said Hamas must stop using Palestinians as human shields. At the same time all the arrested prisoners should be released. About 350 Canadian citizens, permanent residents and their family members have been evacuated from Gaza since the conflict began, he said.
Earlier last week, the Canadian prime minister called for a humanitarian pause in the ongoing conflict to allow the release of all prisoners held by Hamas and the provision of adequate humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians.
