The government of Canada will provide incentives to solve the existing crisis in the housing sector. Recently, the country’s housing minister, Sean Fraser, gave this information. News Reuters.

The housing minister said, ‘We are thinking about different levels of incentives to overcome the crisis. In some cases duty exemptions may be given to manufacturers. In some cases there may be marginal economic benefits.’

Fraser said he is also considering removing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) from the housing sector. The main objective of the incentive is to make the allocated projects more dynamic and effective using the funds. Canada has recently been going through a crisis in the housing sector.
