The young Shakib Jamal of Bangladesh has been included in the prestigious ‘under 30’ list of American magazine Forbes. He has been included in the list’s venture capital (startup investment firm) category.

Every year, Forbes prepares the ‘Under 30’ list of the 30 most promising young people in the world under the age of 30 who play an influential and promising role in various fields including business, technology, arts. Shakib Jamal, a Bangladeshi resident of the United States, has written his name as the only Bangladeshi in this globally respected list this year.

According to the Forbes report about Shakib Jamal, he joined a venture capital firm named Crossbeam Ventures in the United States in 2020. In the three years since he joined, the firm’s two main funds have generated $280 million in profits, with Shakib Zamar playing a leading role.

Currently he is directly involved in 9 important investments of Crossbeam Ventures. In addition, 14 other investments have also played an important role. Jamal was promoted in June 2023 as a reward for his skill and dedication to work. Currently, he is the vice-president of that organization.

Shakib Jamal was born and raised in Bangladesh. After completing high school in this country, he moved to the United States. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University there. He is currently living permanently in the United States.
