Freedom to write. Freedom of Comment. freedom of speech People of Bangladesh got this freedom after many years. May be temporary – but still freedom.
In the 52 years since independence, people have endured unlimited corruption.
All the political parties of the past have proved their failure in running the country. We don’t want anyone bloodthirsty. It is a country – not someone’s private property.
It will take unity, hard work and years to recover from the damage done by its political leaders in the last 52 years.
After the country was freed from Pakistan, when the people of the country died of hunger without food, but no one said that “I made the country free for this?” You did not even give 52 hours to heal the wounds of the last 52 years?
Another thing, hundreds of innocent students of the country have died in this student movement of the last 15 days. How many students have been wrongfully arrested? And you are reading who has damaged the inanimate matter? Is the value of things more than human life?
I watched the video. No one who harmed your dearest inanimate objects seemed to be a student. They just seem to be ordinary people. Or maybe someone from a league/team. Don’t condemn the great student movement just because of it.
What our brothers who were silent during the student movement are now saying about the loss of material things, I say to them, most of the people of Bangladesh do not belong to any party now. Most of them are poor people who cannot afford to buy a piece of beef. Eating pumpkin instead of brinjal and raw jackfruit instead of beef has spoiled their taste buds. If they take fish and chicken from somewhere for their peace of mind, it is wrong, but not as big a crime as killing an innocent nine-year-old student or remanding a 15-year-old student to torture. There is still time, stop crying over material things and think about building a country. But the country belongs to all of us. And the country with all of us.
And everyone has to enjoy their karma. No matter how many fingers are pointed at each other, the lives of innocent students will not be exchanged for anything. Many buildings in the national capital have been burnt many times. A special building in front of which all the roads were forbidden for common people, in front of which common rickshaw pullers were forbidden to travel, if common people are so worried about what they did to that building, build another building on your own responsibility. But do not create such poison in people’s mind that common people destroy that building.
I am very happy to have the freedom to write whatever I want. So I don’t live in illusions. I know there will still be many flawed leaders. Corruption, dictatorship, nepotism. But I am happy – and whoever comes will come after seeing the Royal Bengali face of Bengali people. Be afraid from the beginning. In the blood of the people of Bengal, there is Shere Bangla, there is Bangabandhu, there is Shahid Zia, there is Maulana Bhasani. They are the most powerful nation in the world. So no hanky panky can be done with them.
I know many brothers will be on fire after reading this article. I am an expatriate. I have no right to talk about the country. But my mind doesn’t mean it, so I wrote it. I practiced independence. I do not support any political party in Bangladesh. But want to do. Give me a worthy team, I will support. I wrote my personal thoughts on my personal wall for my personal people.
