
At least 12 people have been killed in a road accident in Dang district of central-western Nepal. 22 other passengers were injured in this incident. The accident took place in Valubang late on Friday night. Not everyone involved in the accident has been identified.
Chief Inspector of Police Ujjal Bahadur Singh said that the passenger bus was going to Kathmandu from Nepalganj in Bend. On the way, the bus fell off a bridge and fell into the Rapti river. We have been able to confirm the identity of only eight passengers, including two Indians.
Bahadur Singh said the bodies have been taken to Lamahi Hospital for post-mortem.
