Words of the neglected people

Mani was a girl who grew up in a village. Her parents were farmers and made a living by working in the fields. Mani was very intelligent and had an immense passion for her studies. She always topped her class in the village school. Everyone loved her and prayed for her bright future. Mani was different from the other children in the village. She had dreams in her eyes and knew that education was the only way to fulfill them.

When Mani was in the sixth grade, a big problem arose in her life. Her father suddenly fell seriously ill. Their family’s financial condition deteriorated, and it became impossible for them to afford Mani’s education. Mani’s parents were very sad but could no longer send their daughter to school. Mani was heartbroken. She knew that without education, there was no progress in her life.

To support his studies, Monir started tutoring children in his village, in addition to his household chores. Many villagers appreciated Monir’s efforts and offered him support. His parents also encouraged him. Gradually, Monir was able to focus on his studies again and started getting good grades in school.

One day, it was announced that a new school would be opening in the village. The quality of education in this school was expected to be very good, and it would be a great opportunity for the village children. However, the school’s admission fee was quite high, which neither Monir nor his family could afford. Monir was very sad. He knew that if he could get admission to this school, his future would be brighter. But where would the money come from?

Monir decided to collect money from the village. He wanted to get admission to the school with the help of the villagers. Many people in the village were surprised by Monir’s decision and were ready to help him in his endeavor. Monir went from house to house collecting money. He was overwhelmed by the villagers’ sympathy, and within a few days, he had collected his admission fee.

However, in this story, there was a powerful person in Mani’s village named Ramesh Chowdhury. He was the richest man in the village and never had any sympathy for Mani’s family. Ramesh Chowdhury believed that only the children of the wealthy could get a higher education and contribute to society’s progress. He always belittled the educational efforts of the poor villagers.

As Mani didn’t have enough money, he finally went to ask Ramesh Chowdhury for help. Ramesh Chowdhury laughed at Mani’s request and said, “A poor boy like you shouldn’t have such big dreams. You should work in agriculture like your family. You are too old for education.”

Mani returned disappointed. But the other villagers were angered by Ramesh Chowdhury’s words and stood by Mani and his family. They collected money themselves and gave Mani the opportunity to enroll in a new school.

As a result of his hard work and perseverance, Monir topped his class again in the new school and continued to march towards his dreams. His success story inspired everyone in the village. Other children in the village also became interested in studies like Monir and learned from him to build their future.

Thanking the villagers, Monir said, “Many difficult situations may arise in our lives. But if we try, persevere, and move forward on the right path, then all problems can be solved.”

The lesson from Monir’s life is that one should not lose courage in difficult situations. Any obstacle can be overcome through effort and perseverance. By showing sympathy and cooperation to the neglected people of society, their lives can be changed. Monir himself was able to fulfill his dreams through courage and cooperation in difficult times of his life.

The thoughts and neglect of big shots like Ramesh Chowdhury hinder the progress of society. But through the strong determination of Monir and the people of his village, it was proved that unity, sympathy, and perseverance are the real keys to the progress of society.
