Who is watching secretly?

Who is watching secretly?

A five or six-character password! So many things can be hidden from people! My Messenger, my WhatsApp, or my credit and debit card information—no one knows except me! But does “no one knows” mean that nothing happens? Things do happen—good or bad, something is always there. If I don’t reveal it, no one can easily find out. This is a world of humans and machines! But what about the realm beyond?

People do both good and bad deeds, whether in public or in secret. Good deeds may be rewarded in this world itself! But what about the hearts you’ve broken, the tears you’ve caused, or the rights you’ve denied? Will they go unaccounted for? If robbing someone’s wealth or taking someone’s life has no consequences, then where is justice? The principles of justice and morality in this world must have a source, right? And does that source not need another source? Do these things just come into existence randomly?

Every action is being recorded. The good is being recorded, and so is the bad. What we think in our minds, what we do in secret—someone must be watching, right? Or not? If governments and hackers can bypass passwords to access information, then wouldn’t the Creator of humans know what’s in their hearts? Could He not? Wouldn’t there be someone assigned to record our deeds? Surely there is! Otherwise, there would be no need for human conscience! Otherwise, there would be no need to distinguish between truth and falsehood!

Every word a person speaks is recorded, every thought is noted. Even if there are no witnesses in this world, the sinful hands will speak—”He made me do this!” The feet will say, “He led me on that path.” So, one must be more cautious in private than in public. Even if no one sees, there is at least One who does—whose sight and hearing miss nothing.

Many acts of worship, but just a little injustice—then the good deeds will become powerless. Giving with open hands, yet causing even a little pain to someone’s heart—then the virtue of giving will be left wandering in the air. Even if good deeds are few, let there be no bad deeds. Just like in an exam where mistakes lead to negative marking, our record of deeds will be evaluated similarly. To compensate for wrongs done to others, good deeds will be handed over until the weight of sins becomes heavier!

So, be cautious. Let the hands and the tongue act with awareness. If people are safe from another’s hands and tongue, if they are secure from the harm of others’ thoughts, then who can stop their success? Success in this world can be ruined by a single mistake in the next, but success in the Hereafter is eternal. Once freed, there is no fear of being shackled again. Restraint is essential for achieving something good. Transparency is even more important. Surely, a person will not entangle their life in the mistake of trying to erase one wrong with another.
