“I strongly condemn the protests that have taken place and are taking place across the country in support of Hamas’s attacks on Israel,” Trudeau said in a post on social media X.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attends a solidarity rally in Israel. At the time, he condemned the protests in his country in support of Hamas.

“I strongly condemn the protests that have taken place and are taking place across the country in support of Hamas’s attacks on Israel,” Trudeau said in a post on social media X.

This information was reported in a report of Qatar-based media Al-Jazeera on Tuesday.

According to the report, Trudeau also said that Canada never supports violence.

Reuters news agency reported that Trudeau’s office declined to comment when asked if he had distinguished between pro-Palestinian protesters and those supporting Hamas.

It should be noted that Hamas, the Palestinian resistance movement based in Gaza, has announced that it has launched a military operation against Israel. Israel has started a counter attack to prevent it.

In a statement, the head of the military branch of Hamas, Mohammad Deif, said that “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm” started by raining 5,000 rockets on Israel last Saturday (October 7) morning. Israel admits to incursions from Gaza.
