At this time, Naqvi called on Afghanistan to hand over the militants involved in Dasu attacks to Pakistan. He said that Tehrik Taliban Pakistan (TTP) based in Afghanistan has carried out terrorist attacks against Chinese citizens in Besham of Dasu area. Pakistan has formally requested the interim government of Afghanistan to arrest the TTP leaders.

At the press conference, Chinese spokesperson Ning referred to terrorism as an enemy against humanity. Apart from this, he termed terrorism as a tumor for regional development and stability.
