Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said that various agencies and intelligence agencies under the auspices of the government are putting pressure on the media to publish false reports as the Canadian court has called BNP as a terrorist organization.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, Section 3 of the second page of the 26-page full judgment of the Canadian court said – ‘Immigration Department has not found any reasonable cause to show that BNP is an organization associated with terrorism.’ But some media reports the truth. Published false reports at the behest of the government without verification which is inconsistent with the principle of fact-finding media. The media’s credibility is called into question when the news is presented under pressure to mislead the public.

There is a storm of public criticism for unverified false reports.

He said in a press conference organized at the BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan of the capital that the illegal Awami government is now disoriented due to its failure. Therefore, by turning the state machinery into a machine of oppression, demonic brutality has been brought down on the anti-democratic parties including the BNP, and on the other hand, they are trying to mislead people one after another by creating baseless and imaginary stories.

Rizvi also said that they have made propaganda and false information into a political manifesto because the crisis of bad governance has become more frequent.

They did not hesitate to distort the judgment of the courts of other countries. Ablila did not hesitate to fake the Canadian court judgment.
