Bhutan has reduced travel fees for Bangladeshi tourists.

Bhutan has reduced travel fees for Bangladeshi tourists. Bangladeshis will now have to pay USD 15 per day to travel to the country, which was previously USD 200. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed this information about the tourism department of Bhutan today on Monday.

According to the ministry, the Tourism Department of the Government of Bhutan has said that the country has revised its policy for Bangladeshi tourists. According to the new policy, Bangladeshi tourists will have to pay only $15 as Sustainable Development Fee (SDF), which is the same as the fee levied on Indian tourists. The new fee has been implemented from June 2.

The ministry says that there is a special relationship between Bangladesh and Bhutan. In recent years, the relationship has been strengthened under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
