A Pledge of Patriotism: A Call to Protect Bangladesh’s Self-Respect in the Month of Victory

A group from Bangladesh will occupy India! Hmm, they can! India can be occupied by renting a microphone for three hundred taka and posting a free status on Facebook! Those who are obsessed with the dream of occupying India will sometimes eat rice and tat! How many upside-down things can you eat! It would be good to spend four days thinking about patriotism instead of thinking about occupying Kolkata. If you start talking upside-down like the Indian media, where will you differentiate between Ashraf and Atraf? Don’t lose your temper because of rumors!

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Damodar Das Modi has presented his old statement on Bangladesh’s Victory Day in a new way! He has made their Victory Day great! His clear statement is that India won against Pakistan on December 16, 1971! They must have forgotten the date when they came to fight! I will also tell him and his followers – eat less upside-down things! Eating too many vegetables is not good for the brain! You must be drinking too much salt water! Whatever you eat, drink it after filtering it! Germs are terrible. They distort the brain.

Now let’s come to the real point. Bangladesh has no chance of winning even a tenth of a percent in a direct war against India! We are also commercially dependent on India. They are also dependent on us because they cannot sell the products they export to Bangladesh so profitably anywhere else. In short, the Bangladesh market is necessary to save Indian farmers and agriculture. The governments of both countries understand this. Therefore, no matter how many threats Indian extremists make in the name of Bangladesh, no matter how many rumors the media spreads, the entry of trucks carrying goods is not stopped!

It is forbidden for us to buy those Indian products on the issue of patriotism, which have alternatives in our market. Even if the products that are produced in Bangladesh as alternatives to Indian products are slightly lower in quality and slightly higher in price, it is still obligatory for us to buy them on the issue of patriotism. This spirit of patriotism has created hostility towards India. What India has started on the issue of Bangladesh is the height of exaggeration. Both sides should stop. India should rein it in quickly. Have absolute faith, even if it is not, India will not directly attack Bangladeshi territory because India has no friends on the border and in the international world now. The situation inside India is going to be deadly! The US-alliance is playing well against India!

If India restricts trade relations with Bangladesh, it will harm Bangladesh, but the extent of India’s harm will not be less. Shuvendu Adhikari and those who are babbling about Bangladesh are more concerned about the electoral politics of their own country than the headaches they have about Bangladesh. Religious issues are the most common activity to get votes from extremists. BJP is talking about that. India does not have a single ounce of headache about the minorities of Bangladesh and never has, because they have not reduced the persecution of their own Tamils. And the oppression of Muslims and other minorities in India is not unknown to the world. If you do not know, read the statement of former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The country that is the closest neighbor of Bangladesh and conspires against the people of Bangladesh is not our friend. In what he wrote in the latest comment of the Indian Prime Minister, there is considerable doubt as to whether he recognizes the sovereignty of Bangladesh separately or at all! Either the lives of three million martyrs of this country or the honor and pride of two hundred thousand mothers and sisters and the sacrifices of countless people to claim that Bangladesh’s independence against Pakistan was their victory is mere arrogance. The government in Bangladesh should look for alternative sources of India in various fields and reduce dependence on India. Products or friends have to be changed from time to time. That is the right taste.

If the general public of Bangladesh, the patriotic public, is not vigilant and vocal, then Bangladesh’s self-respect will be ruined. We have to get used to the alternatives to all the Indian products that are available in our market. First of all, the honor of the country. We have to create alternatives to all the Indian products that are used daily. If India considers Bangladesh its tributary state or province, it will be a historical mistake. Unintentional mistakes can be forgiven but intentional mistakes are punished. India has a historical connection with the birth history of Bangladesh, but when the midwife claims guardianship, their intentions sound reprehensible. India should be careful in its statements about Bangladesh.

Alternative medical centers in India should be discovered. Other countries of the world should be chosen as tourist destinations. There is no alternative to confronting India except for Bangladesh becoming self-reliant overall. Bangladesh has been kept facing India through despicable conspiracies and strategies throughout these long years of independence. It is not all the fault of India but rather the friends of this country have made India feel superior to consolidate their power. Now is the time to repair the backbone of Bangladesh by being inspired by the mantra of patriotism. There is no room for being pro-India or pro-Pakistan in the question of the country’s interests and dignity. We will only be pro-Bangladesh and make Bangladesh great and shining in the world court. It is important to be strong in the oath of patriotism in the month of victory.
