The debt of injustice and the burden of justice!

In the past, you silently endured countless injustices. At other times, you fully supported unjust actions and decisions. This was because many of them directly benefited you, and you didn’t protest the rest for fear of losing the privileges you had gained. Now, when those same injustices have resurfaced in new forms, you’re fiercely protesting or reacting. This is because the beneficiaries are now others, and you feel deprived. It’s the same injustice, yet you view it differently based on your interests and losses. You’re explaining it differently. You once misused your power, and now you’re a victim of misuse. Have you found freedom? On the contrary, silence has become your doom. If you speak up now after a long time of accepting injustice and remaining silent, it will also be your downfall. Isn’t that a dangerous situation?

If you had impartially identified injustice as injustice, you wouldn’t have floated with the current in favorable times, nor would you have drowned in unfavorable times. Justice always prevails. It has the courage to swim against the current. The gains and losses are your responsibility. Your silence then and your protest now have made you lose credibility. Because you didn’t protest or resist injustice then, now you’re being labeled a traitor even though you’re standing against injustice. If you had called light good and darkness dark, you wouldn’t be facing these difficult times today. Because you accepted injustice in your good times, today’s bad times have come crashing down upon you like a dark cloud. Your entire life is now in jeopardy. You now regret this life.

If you had sacrificed for truth and protested against every injustice with all your might, you wouldn’t have to flee today. Your position would not have been compromised. Can the injustices committed today be justified as mere consequences of past actions? Absolutely not. Everyone will have to answer for their wrongdoings in the future. Whatever is good, when rotated, spreads like a fountain of good light. Whatever is bad, in its cyclical nature, ensures that every participant in evil receives their due share. No crime can escape accountability. One will have to give an explanation, in this world or the next. Human courts may be biased, but the divine court is founded on the principles of truth.

The extent of one’s protest against injustice depends on their faith. If someone uses injustice as a cloak for their own benefit, their power will not last forever. The responsibility of violating someone’s rights, dishonoring someone, or robbing someone must be fulfilled in this lifetime. Then, compensation may turn into punishment. Even with a conscience, those who knowingly commit and accept injustice are not unconditionally forgiven by the Almighty. Until the victim, whose rights have been taken away, forgives the offender with a happy heart, the Lord will not be merciful to the oppressor.

The world we experience is a direct reflection of our actions. Even inherited wealth carries the karma of those who came before us. Injustice, no matter its scale, demands atonement. The sins of the fathers are visited upon the children. If you believe that the world holds no value for you once you’re gone, you’re mistaken. Your children and their descendants will bear the consequences of your wrongdoings. Your current injustices will not go unpunished. The most logical person to face the repercussions is the one who committed the wrong.

Dishonor is the harshest punishment. Those who compromise their morals for greed or power invite their own downfall. Once you choose dishonesty, truth becomes your enemy. While injustice may bring temporary wealth, it cannot buy respect. People may fear you, but they will not truly respect you. Those who wield injustice often destroy those they control. Compromising with injustice, oppressing others, or causing harm will lead to long-term consequences. History is filled with examples of this. Yet, we continue to repeat these mistakes. Time may pass, but justice will prevail. There is a higher power that keeps account of all actions.
