Imagine going to an office to get a service. The officer there is so arrogant, it’s like you can’t even get a word in? Don’t be disheartened, instead, laugh. An incompetent person has gotten a position much higher than their qualifications. Such people don’t stay in power for long. When an incompetent person gets a responsibility bigger than their ability, instead of becoming humble, they become arrogant. Know for sure, arrogance is the root of downfall. The one who is haughty, who insults and drives people away, or who doesn’t treat people well, you will hear their fall. Somewhere in life, they will get stuck. They will be caught in such a way that they will be humiliated along with their family. In old age, they will be running around courts and jails for corruption cases! Can you imagine the consequences?
A person who loses their humanity after getting power and responsibility will have to pay the price. Even if an arrogant person is honest, it doesn’t matter. The arrogance of honesty is different. An honest person never compromises with dishonest people or rules. However, behaving badly in front of everyone, depriving someone of service, keeping someone waiting unnecessarily, all these accelerate a person’s downfall. If someone, who has been given a position by God or the government, harasses people instead of fulfilling their duties humbly, they will also be harassed in life. Not all accounts will be settled in this world. Just as you treat people, the Lord will treat you on the Day of Judgment. Then it will be clear who is truly a servant of God! Don’t give up hope thinking everything will happen on the Day of Judgment! Big signs will appear in this world itself!
You’ve encountered a person who offered you sincere advice without hesitation. They listened attentively to your problems or requests, treated you with kindness, and provided solutions within their means or gracefully acknowledged their limitations if they couldn’t help. Know for sure that every step of such a person is an act of worship. This humble nature will take them far in life, both in their career and personal life, and will spread a pleasant fragrance of their personality. Wealth is not everything in life; they will earn the respect of people. Remember, it’s deeds, not wealth, that will be judged! Those who respect everyone, regardless of caste, creed, or social status, deserve our prayers, even if it’s just in our hearts. Their every word is a virtuous act. Those who can respect others will have their own respect elevated by the Almighty. The humble are beloved by God, and those who express gratitude are cherished even more.
Avoiding unnecessary harassment, listening attentively to requests – these are true acts of service. A person’s character is reflected in their words and actions. A noble person is always humble. Even if someone lacks skills or intelligence, a humble nature makes them revered by all. How many people can win hearts with money or additional privileges? How many have the financial means to help others? Yet, a simple smile, a little love, or a touch of good manners can earn you prayers from the depths of people’s hearts. This respect earned in the hearts of people can change the fortunes of humble and good people. It can reduce misfortunes and, of course, ensures rewards in the afterlife.
There’s no point in trying to look arrogant. If you think too much, you won’t find anyone who truly cares about you. The love expressed through words is not as good as the love cherished in the heart. So, try to interact with more people gradually; it will feel good. If someone finds you easily approachable, they’ll consider you a reliable support. Those who are humble often rise to great heights and earn immense respect. It’s difficult for an arrogant person to even imagine the level of respect that humble people receive. Those who stay grounded have their name and reputation soar to the sky. There’s no beauty like simplicity. The simplicity of beauty can be enjoyed forever. Humility makes a person even more respected and earns them a place in the hearts of the people.
