Sometimes, you have to permanently delete certain people from the account of your life. If you don’t completely erase toxic people from your path, your time will be driven in the wrong direction. Is there any greater enemy on this earth than those who break your heart? Hurting someone with words ruins a beautiful day. Breaking trust makes an entire evening unbearable. Not keeping a promise turns a whole night into a sleepless vigil with tears. If you remain with those who use you for their own benefit—even after realizing it—who will relieve your pain? Those who pretend to be dear to you only when they need you deserve to know your worth. If you allow people to take you for granted, they will drain you completely before letting you go. Be a little less generous in life. Your well-being is important too. There is a heart within you that longs to be happy.
If you ever hear the slander spread behind your back, do not seek to strengthen your relationship with those responsible. It is never wise to trust those who can sell you out for their gain. You don’t need five hundred people to stay happy. Reject those who lead you toward wrongdoing and inspire you to engage in harmful acts. Boycott the entire circle of corrupt individuals. Stay away from those who breathe poison. The gatherings where conspiracies unfold and false accusations are made will ruin your future if you become a part of them. It is crucial to live as a decent human being. It is your responsibility to associate with people where respect is present. Living without being the cause of harm to others is one of life’s greatest achievements. Honor is not in wealth but in character. If you try to live well by compromising your conscience, everything will eventually backfire.
If you return to those who use you and discard you when you are no longer needed—only to get hurt again—you are being shameless and naive. Sometimes, you need to sever harmful relationships with even close ones to protect your well-being. No matter how dear they seem, those who constantly find faults, criticize, and belittle you are not good people. You must treasure trustworthy people in your life. Even if you have just two people who will embrace you instead of causing pain, your life will be beautiful. You don’t need a large crowd to be happy and cared for. A small number of genuine people in your home can provide warmth and support. Seek good-hearted people; value those who uplift you. Stay away from toxic individuals. Ultimately, your well-being is what matters. That is the real balance. But do it without becoming selfish.
Those who are absent when you need support, who are not your shelter during difficult times—they may be physically close, but they are not close to your heart. How many people are around you, but how many will truly respond during hardship? Those who shield you during crises may be ordinary people in society, but they are your lifeline. When you seek companionship, gather sincere, helpful, and trustworthy people. At the end of the day, those who stand by you without seeking benefits, who genuinely wish you well from their hearts—do not let them drift away. You realize in hard times that people can be more valuable than wealth. A loyal companion carries more beauty than a million roses. Bad people emit a foul stench, so choose those you accept into your life wisely.
If humans truly embraced their humanity, there would be less turmoil. The reasons behind human conflicts are often trivial. If relationships were valued, greed and anger would not dominate. Yet, because of ego, families fall apart, and people drift away. If people were a little more humble, held onto trust, and weren’t selfish, their fragrance would enchant those around them. But what actually happens? People behave worse than dogs and crows. They end relationships for personal gain. Some break homes for temptation. When given a chance, they strike with deadly blows. They exploit trust and rob hearts. Therefore, to protect your mental peace and well-being, you must drive toxic people far away from your life’s boundaries. At the end of the day, nothing compares to the satisfaction of mental tranquility. Stay well, and take care of yourself.
