Do not side with injustice or wrongdoers to fulfill any worldly interest. At least hold onto this belief: the oppressed do not lie. Not all injustices and crimes are judged in this world; that is why there is the law of Paradise and Hell. Perhaps a fraction of punishment is seen in this world. You may not be the perpetrator, but if you support the wrongdoer for a small gain, you will be equally accountable as the direct offender. Despise injustice with all your strength. Worldly power and opportunities are temporary.
Good times are not permanent; bad times will come. Therefore, do not support injustice out of greed. Stand with justice, or maintain silence. Stand with those who deserve justice and those who have been wronged, or remain quiet. Do not willingly carry someone else’s sin on your shoulders. Have firm faith: no one’s tears, curses, or the prayers of the oppressed will go in vain. Some examples will be established even in this world. The decision is yours—will you stand for justice, or will you oppose it? Will you face the truth, or will you avoid it? However, you will inevitably confront the ultimate truth.
Even if there is no evidence of injustice, its account is still recorded. The rights of those who have been taken away, those who have been oppressed, tortured, or unjustly killed—many of these may be overlooked in worldly judgments, but nothing, not even the smallest incident, will be overlooked in the Hereafter. Make your stance clear for the sake of justice. Speak the truth with courage.
If you lack the strength to reveal the truth, stay silent. But do not stand with injustice and wrongdoing. Do not tarnish yourself in the divine mirror. Truth has its own power because the Creator is on the side of truth. Those who support lies, strengthen the oppressors, and conceal the truth for personal gain—destruction is inevitable for them. The harm they suffer may not always be visible to others, but they are burning within. Their hearts are restless, and their honor is diminishing. Stand firmly for justice and truth. Do not sell yourself for any temptation or fear. Some deaths are far more honorable than a lifetime of living in disgrace. Fight with all your might before surrendering to injustice.
Do not speak or decide with a sold-out conscience; it destroys your personal dignity. How much wealth will you acquire by selling yourself? Illegitimate wealth will only be a burden. Wealth and power gained through injustice are of no benefit to a person. Oppressors may intimidate people, force them to speak in their favor, or demand respect, but they can never win people’s hearts. Have they ever noticed the pile of hatred people harbor for them? Have they ever measured the weight of the oppressed people’s sighs and tears?
One may escape punishment in this world after committing injustice, but no one will be spared on the Day of Judgment. One may exploit loopholes in the law, buy off judges, or intimidate witnesses to secure a favorable verdict, but nothing will be hidden from the One who is the ultimate symbol of justice. Therefore, we must remain cautious. When speaking or taking a side, we must prioritize justice. No power or dynasty is everlasting. So, we must leave behind a legacy worthy of respect. Let us not become part of enduring injustice in this fleeting life. Let us not carry people’s hatred with us.
If you deceive someone for personal gain, seize their rights, or hurt them, you will have to pay it back. History repeats itself. Even in this world, the records of deeds resurface. People are watching—are you speaking for the truth or standing with falsehood? They may not speak out of fear, but their hearts are not silent. The mountain of curses is rising. The curse of the oppressed cuts away the rewards of our good deeds. Advocating for injustice out of self-interest will also demand atonement. Sometimes, it will be through humiliation, sometimes through financial loss, and sometimes through the suffering of one’s children.
Supporting a tyrant or being a tyrant yourself will never free you from atonement. True success is not in having luxurious food or living in a grand house. True success is in peace. Fulfillment in life is found in inner contentment. Those who sold themselves to injustice have burdened their minds with lifelong anxiety. The blessing has left their lives. Their peaceful sleep has vanished. Doubts about life and distrust toward people will chase them to the grave. What greater punishment can there be?
Even those who nurture injustice cannot escape accountability. Before taking a side, ask your conscience; think before you speak. Remaining silent is better than supporting injustice. Standing for justice and supporting truth is like an everlasting charity. Stay free from the burden of others’ tears and suffering. In this short life, do not burden your shoulders with massive sins. Even if circumstances prevent you from standing for the truth, do not let yourself strengthen the boat of falsehood. Bowing to injustice for unlawful gain is not the path of truth. Nothing is darker than denying the truth.
There are truths beyond what the eyes can see. We must develop the capacity to perceive those truths. Truth is the clearest reality. Do not tarnish yourself by mixing truth with falsehood. Stand for the truth, or remain silent. Supporting lies is never in the interest of humanity. Throughout history, those who sponsored falsehood and supported injustice have been despised. If you want to live with respect in people’s hearts, you must have the courage to call truth “truth” and falsehood “falsehood.” The misguided are the companions of Satan. Truth is always open and as clear as daylight.
