Someone works in a big position, so a group of people go to his house to meet him, stand on the street and salute him! Namah Namah bow their heads! Run and fall at his feet if you can muster the courage. If you can muster the courage, they hug you! Even if you don’t want to raise your hand, they forcefully grab it and pull it to your chest! As if it’s a game of coercion in a relationship! Do you think they do all this out of respect? Oh, they just act for the sake of gaining interests. Many of the powerful are fascinated by flattery again. They forget about justice and injustice. They violate the boundaries of what is right and wrong. In the past, they were in positions, but now they are retired. Just wander around the courtyards of such powerful politicians – not even a fly flies when the day is over! Oh, Chadu, a big job and a big man are never the same thing. What are you hoping for? Live with respect. Don’t sell your sense of humor.
Even with all the big positions, ordinary people-subordinates don’t meet. People only meet those whose interests are in their own. They flock to those who can recommend and provide benefits. The market’s scum then becomes the home pond’s scum. This culture of meeting is the naked beginning of nepotism and corruption. The biggest losses in all sectors of this country have been caused by being mean to people you know. If someone politely returns an illegal benefit without giving it, there is no worse person to be caught! If he threatens, he is a bad person! Society has not been corrupted in such a way that honesty, fairness or ethics are looked down upon. Those who follow the easy path are considered fools.
My so-and-so is a big deal, so that relative is in a big position, so he can do a lot – this hadam is a clear manifestation of incompetence. The competent never go on the recommendation of anyone. Their recommendation is built only by their hard work. Honest people reach the top if the system is right. Honesty gives peace. There is pride in sewing shoes with one’s own ability, in sweeping the streets. At least a little self-respect remains. The strength of one’s own ability keeps people strong in their hearts and minds throughout their lives. It is more honorable to be a mouse with one’s own ability than to live as a fool by touching the feet of an elephant. Don’t people understand how small a person has to be to get something from someone unfairly? Why does everyone sell education to vested interests? – This is our national shame!
Titles and money are not the true wealth of this life. Surely you know Rakazi Nazrul Islam? Sukanta Bhattacharya? Well, can you name a few of the country’s owners of hundreds of crores of rupees? Five bureaucrats and policemen who have passed away but were powerful in the past! How shamelessly do we surrender our accumulated self-respect of our entire lives at the feet of high-ranking officials? Well, can’t we be happy with what we have? How much more does it take to survive, to be well? How much money can a person digest in a lifetime? How much food from the granary is needed to satisfy hunger? Even if we cannot achieve mental satisfaction in this world, the soil of the grave will fill our stomach just right! Just wait for time!
Greed is destroying us forever. It is destroying conscience, education, culture and civilization to the core. Isn’t the tendency to achieve and earn money by any means making us stand at the door of inhumanity? We should look at our own image in the mirror of self-criticism. What was supposed to be done but what are we doing? In the race to become inhuman, we are leaving everyone behind. For petty interests, we are sacrificing great personalities. In the end, will we get anything but disrespect and dishonor? How long does human power last? How long does a human live? Let us not do something that will cause us to die during our lifetime! Money and wealth are useful for everything? Believe me, these are insignificant in the face of death. Illegal wealth is an obstacle for mental peace. However, I am fulfilling my greed only by sacrificing all honor for worldly interests. I am falling behind every day in the race to become a human being. However, it was important for us to be a great person in any position.
If we take advantage of any illegal opportunity, use nepotism to gain a high position and deprive a worthy person, the responsibility will fall on the thug. Compensation will have to be paid to him. There is no greater punishment than mental unrest and dissatisfaction. Not being able to sleep due to worries, wife/children going astray – these are the punishments of this world. The punishment of the hereafter is a terrible fire. Let us think about what we do. What I say should not be taken back. It is the moral responsibility of Assad to give due respect to everyone, young and old. Pride and arrogance should not become an obstacle in the way of this responsibility. It is important to be a person with clean thoughts throughout life. For the blessings and blessings of Allah, one should have a beautiful life without harming anyone. May Allah grant us this opportunity and respect.
