Why are people coming out of the uncivilized Amazon?

In the Peruvian part of the Amazon forest, a tribal community untouched by civilization has been found. The people of this tribe, called Masco Piro, have never before been seen coming close to civilization.

Last Tuesday, an organization named ‘Survival International’ released the pictures and videos of the people of this tribe. It shows tribals relaxing on the banks of a river.

Another organization called Phenamed said that due to the increase in the number of trees being cut in the area, these tribes are moving away from their old land. Most likely they are doing so in search of food and safe shelter.

Survival International said the photos were taken in June this year from the side of a river called Madre de Dios. It is a river in Peru bordering Brazil.

“These extraordinary images show the people of the Maso Piro tribe — several kilometers from where the trees are being prepared to be cut down,” said Caroline Pearce, International Director of Survival International.

The people of this tribe do not associate with people who enjoy the privileges of civilization. They keep to themselves.

But some companies are cutting down the trees by going to their residence. A company called ‘Canales Tahumanu’ has built a 200 km long road to transport felled trees.
