IN THIS WEEK’S ISSUE

What is the first failure of Dr. Yunus government?

Arshad Khan

Dr. Yunus

In my lifetime there is as much public support for this current unelected interim government as there is for any previous elected government. Everyone is looking towards this government with hope. That means that all the problems of this country will be solved in one or two months. Dr. Yunus has Aladdin’s lamp, he will rub it to cast out the jinn and everything will be solved in one day. I don’t know if you expect that, but at least I don’t. It is doubtful whether any government can fully clean up what the Awami League government has done during its tenure.

Corruption is the main problem of our country. It is probably not possible for anyone to eliminate it 100%. At least not in one or two months or two years. There is no complaint about that now. People have endured torture for so long, let them wait for a few more months. It is not a problem to wait. But the safety of people! It’s not like waiting! Shouldn’t the government have paid more attention to this aspect after assuming power, and made the best effort? What has been done?

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina, there was practically no government in the country for a few days. There was no administration. It is normal for the security situation to deteriorate at that time. If not, I accepted. There was no police after the formation of the government. Even at that time it was not accepted. But when more than a month has passed, why is the situation the same as before?

The support of the majority of the people of the country is on this government, but is this not a failure of the government?

This mode of justice happens after any major movement or fall of the government. But it calms down within three or four days. Today, more than a month later, this work is still going on. Dr. Yunus government is still not taking any measures to stop it. Maybe trying but we still don’t see the picture of that arrangement in practice.

What is wrong is wrong throughout life. A man can have a thousand crimes. But two hundred people beating that man to death cannot be justified in any way. can’t be It would be unfair for this to happen even to the most despicable people in the world. Dr. Yunus government has failed to prevent it so far. Time will tell what he will do in the future, maybe he will do many reforms and maybe he will not be able to do much. But after his assumption of power, all the cases of mod justice that happened are only his government’s responsibility.

First of all ensure the safety of life and property of the people of the country and when I say these people I am also talking about Awami League. Please don’t become another Awami League. During the Awami League period, we have seen that if he was killed, killed and given the camp tag, everything would have been solved. Nobody talked about it. Now even during the tenure of this government, if it becomes permissible to kill Awami League by tagging them without any kind of trial, just because they are Awami League, then they believe that there will be no difference between the Awami League and you. All those who have done wrong are caught and punished. That is justice, but doing mod justice, catching anyone, beating and killing Awami League tag, beating and insulting is not justice in any way!
In the past few days, the shrine has been attacked, Dewanbagi’s shrine has been broken into and set on fire. I strongly dislike Dewanbagi, dislike shrine, so can I attack? It is the government’s responsibility to prevent this attack. The government is responsible for the failure to prevent this attack.

A few days ago, the Gazi tire factory was attacked and set on fire! Yesterday I saw that a garment factory was set on fire. The government could not prevent these attacks. Awami League was the owner of Gazi Tire and he was arrested. But at least three to four thousand people used to work in this factory, all of them became unemployed in one blow. The bigger question than who set the fire is why the government could not stop it?

Yesterday the government gave an outline of reforms. Only time will tell how well it will or can do. But the current government failed to prevent this attack. The previous government had no accountability. If you think that you are responsible to the people, then you have to answer for the failure!
Hindu Durga Puja is coming next month. If there is an attack on the temple puja mandap during this puja then it is the responsibility of the government. Will the government take the highest measures in this regard?

Criticizing Sheikh Hasina’s government meant that Jamaat Shibir was tagging BNP. It is still in force. Whenever anything is said in Sheikh Hasina’s name, her fox army is the first to add this tag. And recently started Dr. Giving Awami League tag only when criticizing Yunus government. Although yesterday Dr. Yunus said that you criticize this government in your heart. Let’s see what this government does about their critics? Whether they bear it and accept their responsibility or become another Awami League government is a matter to be seen now.
