If a person is very honest in his personal life but supports dishonesty in social and state life, he is not free from the chains of excuses. Whoever does injustice and whoever tolerates injustice, then hatred burns like grass. To accept injustice willingly without doing injustice, to speak on behalf of the wrongdoer is an even greater injustice. It is oppression on the soul. Along with the bribe taker, the bribe giver will also go to hell. Thus it is proved that it is not enough to just refrain from injustice, but one cannot remain in the shadow of those who do injustice, cannot speak on their behalf and cannot work to protect them. Every injustice deprives someone or the other of their rights. Someone or the other is harmed somewhere. To condone injustice means to do injustice to justice! Therefore, to cover up injustice means to disrupt the rights of people, to sacrifice the welfare of the state or to carry someone’s sigh.
Justice is always constant. What is right for me is right for everyone in the world. If you follow religious practices but have friendship with a usurer, kinship with a bribe-taker, sympathy for a murderer, and a forbidden and mahram relationship with anti-state people! – such piety has no value. I do not compete with the wrongdoer in strength and power, and therefore I do not hate him – but where is faith? If there is no faith, then there is no possibility of anyone prostrating, donating, or joining the ranks of charity until they repent and renew their faith. Strong faith is the foundation of liberation. Those who have this basic principle of religion and build a building with deeds, it becomes sustainable.
Keeping yourself honest and engaging in dishonesty means making your own honesty meaningless. Your love for those involved in family relationships who earn money through dishonest means that you have a mistake in your definition of honesty. If you do not warn the corrupt or unjust organizer, do not try to stop him, or do not distance yourself from him, then his share of sin will return to you. If you silently support social evils, state corruption, and political murders, how can you avoid responsibility for these? The world is not the final arena of judgment. The clear announcement of the terrible consequences for the wrongdoers and sponsors of injustice in religion is a lesson for everyone. We cannot take sides with any injustice for the sake of interests.
If there is a risk of harm if one stands against injustice openly, one must remain silent forever. However, the flow of hatred from the heart should not be stopped. But those who support injustice by writing with their pen, want to give legitimacy to it with their mouths, or keep it prevalent in society with their thoughts are inevitable. Criminals think that wealth will protect them from danger. That is why they accumulate wealth like a madman without paying attention to justice and principles and count it repeatedly. Divine curse for them. I see the severity of punishment for them in this world. If people could imagine what terrible punishment they will face in the next justice, they would repent and wish for death now.
Being honest in personal life is important, but leaving the company of the wrongdoer and not supporting injustice is even more beneficial. A person will be questioned for each of his actions. While personal welfare lies in keeping oneself honest in personal life, supporting social or state dishonesty means establishing oneself as a partner in the overall evil. Where people have been killed unjustly, the people have been cheated or there was an attempt to cripple the nation – your support means that you are also a hypocrite in creating a total disaster. If a person is killed unjustly, it is tantamount to killing a nation. If you have even a silent consent to a killing that judges both sides, then all your deeds and all your hard work have been wasted. Along with trying to protect yourself from injustice, you must also create distance from the wrongdoer. Even if you do not have the courage to openly call evil bad, everyone should have that feeling in their hearts so that they hate the perpetrator and sympathize with the victim.
