Threats to blow up central bank of India

A total of three bank offices, including the Central Bank of India, have been threatened with bomb attacks.

A total of three bank offices, including the Central Bank of India, have been threatened with bomb attacks. The threat was given in an email sent to the RBI office. Two demands have also been specified. It has been clearly stated in the email that ‘action’ will be taken if the demand is not met.

On Tuesday (December 26), the threatening email came to the headquarters of the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai. The threater has clearly stated his two demands. The email states that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman should resign immediately. Along with that, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das also has to resign.

In all, 11 bombings were planned, the threat email said. That attack will happen on Tuesday. The threat has even given the details of where the attack will take place. All in different bank branches in Mumbai.

Mumbai Police was alerted only after the email was reported to the police. Every place written in the email is searched. But after searching every area, nothing was found, Mumbai Police said.

The email ID from which the threat came is ‘khilafat.india at gmail.com’. Currently, a complaint has been lodged with the MRA Marg police station in Mumbai in the name of this email ID.

According to Mumbai Police, bomb threat was issued from 1.30 pm on Tuesday, but no attack or explosion was reported till evening.
