The Thompson RCMP received a report on March 20, 2023, around 8:20 p.m., of several young people stealing items from businesses in the City Centre Mall in Thompson, Manitoba. Employees demanded that the youth leave and threatened them with bear spray. The youth then ran away.
At a different location, the kids tried to enter, but security stopped them and threatened them with knives. When the police arrived, they started a brief foot pursuit.
