Police investigate suspicious death
The Integrated RCMP/HRP Major Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division with assistance from the Halifax District RCMP is investigating a suspicious death of a 28-year-old man.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. yesterday evening, Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Lake Loon Rd. in Lake Loon. Police located a man deceased in the vehicle. Investigators have since deemed the death to be suspicious and do not believe this to be a random act.
The investigation is ongoing and is being supported by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office and the RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
