Bangladeshi passport holders can travel to 42 countries of the world without advance visa. Last year the number was 40 in this country. There are 6 more Asian countries in this list of Bangladeshis traveling without advance visa.

On January 10, the ranking of the world’s passports was published by the US-based organization The Hanley and Partners.

According to the agency, the 42 countries that Bangladeshis can visit without a visa include 1 in South America, 16 in Africa, 11 in the Caribbean and 8 countries and territories in Oceania. In some of these countries and regions, Bangladeshis get visa benefits on arrival or after landing at the airport. E-Visa should be taken for Sri Lanka and Kenya.

Bangladeshis can go to countries included in Asia – Bhutan, Cambodia, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka and East Timor. Bangladeshis can also visit Bolivia, a country included in South America, without a visa.

Countries included in Africa are Burundi, Cape Verde, Comoro Islands, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritania, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Gambia, Togo and Kenya.

The Caribbean includes the Bahamas, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.

Oceania countries include – Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, Nueva, Samoa, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Kiribati.
