Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader today said no political race will be held without State leader Sheik Hasina.
“We have a one-point interest: an election under Sheikh Hasina in accordance with the constitution. Our demand is the opposite of what the BNP’s one-point demand is, which is for Sheikh Hasina to resign.
This was said by Quader, Road Transport and Bridges minister as well, while he was addressing a “peace rally” that was jointly organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League and the North Awami League at the Baitul Mukarram South Gate in the capital. He was referring to the BNP’s one-point movement to overthrow the government.
He said, “BNP’s one-point request is the abdication of Sheik Hasina. Without Sheikh Hasina, we will not hold elections. The BNP is aware of their election defeat. The popularity of Sheikh Hasina will sweep them away. They lust after Sheikh Hasina.
He likewise said their one-point is political race as indicated by the constitution and they are attempting to accomplish this objective.
According to Quader, Hasina is to blame for development. She has committed a crime by fantasizing about creating a smart Bangladesh by 2041.
He stated, “Now they are dreaming again,” stating that BNP’s one dream has died. What are they dreaming about? The resignation of Sheikh Hasina.”
“You, foreign delegations, want elections that are free and fair.” We also want that. He stated, “We will resist anyone trying to obstruct free and fair elections.”
“The game will be on until the election,” Quader said, urging the leaders of the party to be ready to collaborate on activities. At the point when the Awami League becomes an integral factor, no abhorrent power will actually want to remain against them. ”
He instructed the leaders of all the sub-organizations to hold a rally and asked the leaders of the party to continue holding programs until the election.
