The party’s top leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah went to campaign in West Bengal on Tuesday before the fifth and last phase of polling. He made explosive comments at a campaign meeting in support of BJP candidate Shantanu Thakur in Bangaon Lok Sabha constituency.

Shah said, ‘Mamata didi, your time has come to an end. 30 seats will really run out of your time. Here too, the BJP government is going to be formed under the leadership of Modiji.

Amit Shah claims that BJP has already got the majority of seats to form the government.

Amit Shah said, ‘Voting has been held in 380 Lok Sabha constituencies so far. BJP is going to get majority by winning 270 seats.

Apart from West Bengal, polling has been completed in several states including Gujarat, several constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra. Elections have already been completed in a large part of Go-Bola. He claimed that the BJP has already secured all the necessary seats to form the government.

Shah gave a special message about the amended Citizenship Act while campaigning in Bangaon Lok Sabha constituency. He said that if Shantanu Thakur wins 30 seats in Bengal, he will go door to door and arrange to give citizenship to Matuas.

Amit Shah said, ‘Mamatadi your time has come to an end. Matuara will get citizenship. No one can stop.

On the issue of intruders in the state to the Chief Minister, Shah said, “If Mamata did anything for Bengal, it is to support the intruders and corrupt people.”

Criticizing the Trinamool Congress government, Sarab Shah said, ‘Poverty has increased in the whole of Bengal. Under the leadership of Modiji, the whole of India has moved forward. Despite all this, Bengal has fallen behind.

Shantanu Thakur, the MP who won last time, is contesting on BJP ticket from Bangaon Lok Sabha seat. The BJP leadership is hopeful of winning this Lok Sabha constituency held by Matua since the introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Act.
