Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates break, enter and theft at Marystown Mall

Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a break and enter that occurred at the Marystown Mall on February 22, 2023, where a quantity of cash was stolen from a number of vending machines.
According to surveillance footage, at approximately 4:20 a.m., a lone masked individual forced entry through an exterior door near the main entrance to the mall and damaged a number of vending machines to access the money inside. The suspect, who was wearing a black coat with a red sweater underneath, black pants, a back pack and black and white sneakers, departed with an undisclosed amount of cash. Surveillance footage will be shared with the public once it becomes available.
