Two years ago, Kabul was captured by the Taliban. Since then, a new dark age has started in Afghanistan. As time passed, the situation worsened. In this situation, former Afghan Lieutenant General Haibatullah Alizai made explosive claims about the future of the country. In an interview given to news agency PTI, he said, “I know the situation in Afghanistan is very critical. And it is moving in a more dire direction. Now the civil war will begin. Or Afghanistan could be partitioned. Because for the last two years you have seen how Afghanistan is being controlled by militants.”
Haibatullah lives in America at the moment. And from there he fired. And the former army commander blames America for this situation. According to him, after the withdrawal of the US troops from Afghanistan, the lives of the people there have practically become dangerous due to the arrival of the Taliban. Haibatullah is claiming that militant groups like Al Qaeda and Daesh have also become active in Afghanistan. As a result, he fears that his country will soon become a ‘safe haven for militants’.
