Political rumors: The consequence of lies!

Those who spread rumors, regardless of their political affiliations, for personal gain, surely don’t consider the consequences in the afterlife. Spreading rumors is essentially lying, and the end of lying is hell. Yet, both sides in political disputes are seen spreading these rumors for their own benefits. This is aided by a group of non-political individuals who profit from such chaos, some even gaining a degree of credibility.

These rumor-mongers fail to realize how they become so lightweight and laughable as human beings! Their lies ensnare not only the politically motivated but also bureaucrats, intellectuals, and even teachers. The judgment for lies isn’t just in the afterlife; it’s paid for in this life too. The ridicule you face is a major punishment for lying. Whether you’re feeling psychologically unwell or undeservedly good, these are minor punishments for lying. An illegal rise always has a fall.

Some spread rumors using information, while others use religion. But lies are the mother of all sins. A politics built on lies can provide economic freedom, cause someone to be killed or be the victim of violence, secure a position or a jail term, but it won’t make crossing the bridge to the afterlife easier. If you care about human liberation, stop spreading rumors. Save yourself. By spreading rumors, you’re acting without a conscience.

Spreading false information, even when uncertain of its veracity, is a serious offense. Such actions can lead to catastrophic consequences like loss of life and communal strife. Those who disseminate rumors and create discord are morally reprehensible.

While politicians may often indulge in rhetoric, individuals in positions of trust like imams, teachers, and conscientious citizens should uphold higher standards. Spreading rumors undermines one’s character and can cause immense harm, far outweighing any temporary gains.

Prioritizing personal interests by suppressing the truth is unjust and sinful. When one’s intentions are impure, even seemingly logical arguments become questionable. Such actions erode public trust. It is hypocritical to derive pleasure from others’ misfortunes or to suffer when others are in pain.

As humans endowed with conscience, we must strive to distinguish between truth and falsehood. We should rise above sectarian divisions and advocate for universal truths. Any harm caused by our lies, no matter how small, will require accountability.

Relying on one’s conscience to determine right from wrong is essential. Spreading rumors and attempting to deceive others is a foolish and immoral act. It is important to remember the consequences of our actions and to fear the judgment of a higher power.
