Almost all of us cannot die with a beautiful body. We die worn out by disease and grief, with the signs of old age fatigue, or with mental stress due to someone’s injury. Imagine how many dead bodies you have seen – their bodies have not frozen with the brightness of youth, the strength of youth. What an uncomfortable shadow has covered the body. Someone’s body is broken, the skin has sagged or the body has changed a lot. Who would have known from the outside how much disease was hidden under the smooth skin!
But think about how many wonderful deeds we can die with. While taking our last breath, we can fall into the lap of death while saying two good words and doing one good deed – let us pray for eternal death. Since death is trapped in the circle of uncertain time, we must always continue to do good deeds. If someone from afar sighs and says, ‘He was a great man’ or if someone from your own family sheds two tears, then mankind will be blessed. If we leave behind virtue as we go, what could be more beautiful than death, my dear?
The body will decompose as soon as it is laid on the ground. The bones will not be found after a few days. Before the next two generations have passed, you will be a distant past. Those who will enjoy your wealth, those who will live in the house you left behind, or those who will walk on the path you walked on, will not recognize you. You are a complete stranger. How many ages will it take for such a change? At most 100 years. However, if you leave a good deed in the world, it will not be lost until the world is destroyed. Your deeds will remain even after the blowing of Israfil.
Well, everything is destroyed. You are standing before the Lord, waiting for the decision of the Last Judgment. Then your good deeds are rushing here and there. Who is more beautiful than you at that moment? On whose face will the light of light be naked like that? Then you will find such a form whose light will illuminate the entire field. What color you were in the world, what tribe you belonged to – these are worthless at that time. The deeds you leave behind will decide your destination.
Do as much good as you can in this two-day world. There is no use in massaging your beauty and youth, complaining against someone in the hope of gaining benefits. Time is running out very quickly. The call for the final farewell will come at any time. A fragile body will be laid in the grave by people you know and do not know, so that some good deeds will go with it.
The wealth you will leave behind in the world will be bitter in your blood. The finger of complaint will be raised towards your grave. How much space the grave has taken up! How many more people will have complaints. Even if you die, you will not say anything – some will still harbor anger against you for this accusation.
Speaking the truth, living honestly – what is more valuable in this life? Unjustly acquired wealth, profiting by depriving someone of their rights, or showing bravery by cheating someone – have these sustained anyone forever? The afterlife will be enough to understand how much better the prayers of the common man are than the curses of people. You will also feel the signs in this world.
The world is blessed by the words and behavior of good people. The family, society and the state benefit from them, people come to their senses – may we also have qualities like those people – may the Lord not call us before fulfilling this desire – our collective prayer.
